The Goal
– Keep reducing general waste by getting everyone to use the bins correctly and avoid mixing trash and recycling
– Make sure all staff and visitors use the recycling stations and machines the right way to avoid contamination
The Problem
– Struggle to engage employees in recycling
– Difficulty educating staff on proper recycling
– Improper sorting of recyclable waste
The Solution
– Recycling stations have been installed across all floors, making it easier for staff to separate their waste correctly and reduce contamination
– Reverse vending machines were introduced and have remained popular, encouraging proper recycling of bottles and cans
– Cup collectors are added to the site, which helped reduce the use of single-use coffee cups
– A full range of waste-reduction solutions has been implemented since 2019, tailored by Unisort to support NatWest Group’s goal of achieving zero waste to landfill

Customer Feedback:
I just want to share some positive feedback with regards to our waste behaviours on site since we collaborated. Reviewing datasets since staff have returned to the office and our introduction of Unisort Waste Stations across all floors, our general waste has reduced by 52% which is a remarkable achievement! The ease of separation is certainly helping staff navigate the disposal of waste without contamination
When I reflect on our Journey from 2019 to where we are now, the full suite of products we have to achieve our zero waste to landfill ambitions has been supported by Unisort offering proven concepts and adapting them for the needs of NatWest Group.
Thanks as always!
